A chip to be on the money

HITACHI engineers have developed what they claim to be the world's
tiniest integrated circuit on a chip.
The 0.15mm by 0.15mm square is a gossamer-like 0.0075mm thick.
The company said the chip could be placed in valuable documents such
as currency and securities certificates to prevent counterfeiting.
