    Yup.

    He wrote me sometime last year through email, but he
    never wrote back when I replied to him.

    I'm afraid I can't help you. I pretty much lost contact with him
    too, when he disappeared from Fidonet here. He and I had talked
    briefly about getting together sometime, since he's often here in
    Vancouver for his job, but we lost touch before it happened.
