    Hello Guys,

I've a question: I use ifmail and areafix. Areafix replies to queries
and forward them to my boss, if a downlink tries to link an area that is
not linked. But the INN's newsfeeds file is not changed at all.

What is the Passive newsfeeds? I created an empty file.

    Have you any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Massimiliano

Would it neccessarily need to ? Unless each echo/newsgroup was explicitly listed, I would have thought that the only thing that would change would be the
    ifmail config files...

Note that I can't take a look at this directly because ifmail is currently erroring out on Debian systems....

Yes, but which kind of config file for Ifmail, areafix changes?
If areafix is not changing the newsfeeds, what is the action done
by the robot? All the messages in the areas listed in newsfeeds are routed
    to the downlink

I'm using ifmail on Debian etch. Which kind of error do you have?
You're the 3rd that says that ifmail causes errors.

Personally, I did apt-get install ifmail ifcico ifgate and I've
everything up and running, without any particular error.

    Ciao,

    Massimiliano
