Any pointers from Max sysops doing this?
There is software on the CD that is in the mail (did you get my
netmail about it?!) being sent to you that has QWK networking stuff
THInk I did, if it were the one confirming the address.
on it, but most of it is broken and/or nagware that doesn't work
right without a key. Other than that, unless you're running
Synchronet, Wildcat! or some other software that does QWK networking natively, you're kinda screwed these days. I've tried several times
to get that other software working so I can gate my own FTN network
to QWK.
FIgured, but might have a look. Just saw something that might be quite topical
to this bbs the other day that was a qwk network.
I remember years ago a few of us wanting to carry the Musiclink which was a qwk
network. I used to call CHicago, then BOnnie Lambert out in California kludged
together a way to play gateway to fido format, so long as those of us who were members promised not to provide it to those who hadn't paid their money. I was mail only at the time she first started doing this so it didn't really apply. SHe had some bugs in her kludge though and she quit doing it. I called Chicago
a few times after I started doing the hub thing in eastern IOWa then gave up on
it myself.
THIs was circa 1994-95 iirc.

Richard
