From IB JOE@1:342/201 to All on Saturday, November 10, 2018 12:12:22
I copied the directory and used the second slot and for whatever reason it
took my fidonet address. For whatever reason I cannot use use the first
slot. To be honest with you I thought I did this the last time I was moving things around.

Anyway, FTN address fits in the second slot...

    Thanx
    :)

Oh, yeah, I thought you saw the replies to you that said that's exactly what
it probably was. Don't use the first slot, it's reserved for local mail. Glad you got it sorted out!

local areas and not any FTNs???

Yes, it's well documented in more places than I can think of, the first node address entry MUST be left at 0:0/0. It even says so in the configuration screen. Note the top line in my list of AKAs taken from Mystic's configuration interface.

The first address should be 0:0/0 and thatΓÇÖs titled local. ThatΓÇÖs for
    local bases.

Each slot after is where you add ftn networks.
