I found something very wierd when editing the Message Areas.

If I log in remotely and go to the (B) Message Area editor in the SysOp menu there is a continue prompt. No issue, just hit space and the Message Area Editor prompt comes up (Message Area Editor [CDIMPRTX.<?>Help.<CR>Page.<Q>uit]:).

Here is the wierd thing, if I log in remotely and goto offline mail and download a .qwk packet, then goto the Message Area Editor, there is NO continue prompt. Just the Message Area Editor prompt as above.

Why would a continue prompt come up i the 1st case? Wierd.

    Thanks

... OK, I pulled the pin. Now what? Hey, where're you going?

Interesting. Do you mean it just scrolls or the continue prompt is replaced with the editor prompt? Does this only happen after you download a QWK packet?

Circling back to this. You know the editor prompt for the message bases is hit ENTER for the next page, correct? There should be NO continue prompt for listing bases in the message editor.

Its the (Y), (N)o or (C)ontinuous prompt. Hit CR and its replaced with the editor prompt.

If I go straight to the editor after login, I get the Y,N,C prompt. When I quit the editor, go to offline mail, download a pkt and then go back to the editor I get the editor prompt. Not the Y,N,C prompt. That's what wierd.
Any other editor (like menu or any other) the Y,N,C prompt does not appear oly the editor prompt.

Yes I know that. I can hit enter at the editor prompt and yes, get the next page. The Y,N,C prompt only comes up when entering the editor 1st time. Staying there and adding or modifying or next page does not bring up the Y,N,C.
